Messaging policy
Student Transport Optimizer sends transactional SMS messages only, such as one-time passcodes, verification codes, account security notifications, registration codes, and service-related account messages. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages through this campaign. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
How SMS consent is collected
SMS messages are sent only to drivers and parents/guardians who opt in. During registration in the Student Transport Optimizer driver and parent mobile apps, each user enters their mobile number and provides express consent by selecting a consent checkbox — not pre-selected — agreeing to receive transactional SMS messages such as one-time passcodes, verification codes, and account security notifications. Consent is not a condition of service, and the registration screen links to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies based on account activity, and message and data rates may apply.
