Student Transport Optimizer ("STO", "we", "us") collects information needed to operate a secure student transportation platform for school transportation providers and school districts. This includes account information, contact information, and transportation-related operational data supplied by authorized users of the platform.

We collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, organizational affiliations, and role information for authorized users of the platform, including administrators, dispatchers, drivers, and parents.

Phone numbers are used to send transactional SMS messages related to authentication and account activity, such as one-time passcodes, verification codes, registration codes, account security notifications, and service-related messages.

Drivers and parents/guardians provide their mobile number and opt in to these messages during registration in our driver and parent mobile apps by selecting a consent checkbox that is not pre-selected. The registration screen links to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP.

Message frequency varies based on account activity, and message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for assistance.

Student Transport Optimizer sends transactional SMS messages only, such as one-time passcodes, verification codes, account security notifications, registration codes, and service-related account messages. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages through this campaign.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

To operate the service we process driver assignments, vehicle records, route and stop configurations, student transportation assignments, and related operational data provided by authorized users of the platform.

The service processes GPS and location data from paired driver devices and vehicles to provide real-time transportation visibility. Location data is used to display route progress and vehicle status to authorized users of the platform.

Information is used to operate the platform, authenticate users, deliver transportation visibility to authorized parties, coordinate transportation operations between providers and school districts, secure accounts, and provide service-related communications.

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the authorized organization that owns the tenant, with authorized users of that tenant, and with service providers that support platform operations under appropriate contractual protections. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including secure authentication, role-based and permission-based access, OTP verification, device pairing for driver access, and strict tenant data separation.

We retain information for as long as necessary to operate the platform, to meet legal, operational, or contractual obligations of participating organizations, and to support the delivery of transportation services.

Student transportation data is provided and controlled by authorized school transportation providers and school districts. Student Transport Optimizer acts on behalf of those organizations to operate the transportation platform and does not use student information for marketing.

Users may contact their organization's administrator for access, correction, or removal requests related to their platform accounts. Users can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to a message from the service, and can reply HELP for help.
